While the name has changed, the seamless payment experience you rely on remains the same—now integrated under the trusted GoFundMe platform.
Does GoFundMe Pay reduce fraud?
GoFundMe Pay secures all donor payments with intelligent fraud protection, analyzing user behavior in real time to block suspicious activity and reduce fraud before it occurs.
Can I track donations made to my nonprofit on GoFundMe using GoFundMe Pay?
Yes. For nonprofits using GoFundMe Pro, all GoFundMe donations will appear in transaction reports, labeled as “GoFundMe,” and be visible in your CRM.
Is there a credit card processing or transaction fee?
Credit card transactions on GoFundMe Pro typically incur a standard processing fee of 2.4% + $0.30 per transaction, though some customers may qualify for lower rates. PayPal and Venmo transactions start at 2.5% + $0.30. Donations made directly on GoFundMe have no platform fee—just a standard 2.2% + $0.30 processing fee through GoFundMe Pay.
Please be aware of an additional 1% fee for donations made with American Express.
